3/24/2021 6 Comments The Adventure Continues...Before I get started I should warn you-I'm not very good at small talk and have been told I am "intense" because I tend to jump right into the meat of things. We're moving back to Minnesota and I'm selling the trailer! (See? Told ya.) I'm guessing that's maybe not quite enough information, huh? Okay, I'll tell you why. Love. As I was thinking about how to explain everything, I realized that it all came back to love in some way. The reason I started this business was because of love. I love baking and creating good food. I love feeding people. I love meeting people, learning your name, what you like to eat, and just a little bit of who you are. I love working. Really. I have loved creating something from nothing, building a business that has multiple revenue streams and grew month over month, year over year, even through a global pandemic. I loved creating and managing a website, taking photos, researching and developing recipes, building multiple Social Media accounts and a strong email list, partnering with other small business owners at events and getting to support and encourage those of you wanting to take the plunge into starting your own business! I am so grateful for you. Thank you for supporting me, for walking up to my window. You probably didn't know this, but the first time you came I was secretly watching you when you took your first bite. I was waiting for that moment. I love that moment. The moment that your face lit up and you smiled or sighed. Those moments taught me to be better. They showed me when I needed to keep doing what I was doing or if I needed to keep working on a recipe. That look on your face fed my heart, soul and body. You kept me going. It was because of you that I HAPPILY woke up at 2:30am on Saturdays to make fresh Doughnuts-seriously! It is because of you, that this has been the most exciting challenge of my life and why I am less afraid to keep growing and keep trying. You have changed me and made me a better me. You have allowed me to make a dream come true and you have forever impacted my life. I love you. Thank you. So now that I've gushed...I suppose you'd like to know why we're leaving and I'm selling a successful business? Love, of course! I love my person, my bestie, my husband. Ryan has been my number one fan, top salesman, best ambassador and loudest cheerleader. He is my go to fixer, recipe taste tester, idea bouncer, truth teller and support staff. We haven't been married decades, but we've been through a whole lot in the time we have been together and we've learned a lot of things along the way. The past three years has especially taught us that marriage and commitment has a flow. Sometimes one of us needs a bit more support for a day, a week, a month or years, and that has been what Ryan has been doing for me the past three years. He has sacrificed experiences, weekends, sleep, free time and energy to give me the opportunity to pursue and live out my dream. And now it's his turn to step into pursuing his new chapter and I am beyond excited for him. He has been recognized by an incredible organization and is joining a family that runs their business with integrity and transparency. You probably don't know Ryan like I do, so just believe me when I tell you, I have NEVER met someone that works as hard as he does in every role he takes on. He is hands down, the most loyal and dedicated member of any organization and he never stops working-ever. I could not be more proud of him and ecstatic for what he will do in this new role and how he will grow and develop their success! Yay Ryan!!! You're probably wondering what our plan is. Well, this has all happened REALLY fast and even though we've always known we'd move home to Minnesota, this happened a bit faster than what we thought. But that's ok! We are not afraid of a challenge and so we have rolled up our sleeves and started getting all the things ready! We've got a trailer, boat and house to sell and first up-the trailer! You've seen it from the outside, but only a small number have seen it on the inside. Now is your chance! We had this 20'x8.5' Elite Concession trailer designed and built for ME and what I wanted to do because I couldn't find anything even close. It was built in May 2018 and has been maintained to "like new" standards. We own it and everything in it and will be selling it as a complete package. All you need to do is buy your raw ingredients and get to work-it is literally the most "turn-key" you could get. We have been so grateful that this was the route we took because it has allowed us to keep our overhead very low, to develop multiple revenue streams, and especially to survive this past year. We know events will be coming back and I've already had requests for late summer and fall, so if you or someone you know is ready to make a dream come true and take this "little-trailer-that-could" to the next level, today is your lucky day! Trailer (20'x8.5' Elite trailer, LED Lights 3ea, 48" Door, Counter 2ea 5'x27", Prep Counter 3'x3', Concession Window 2ea 5', Royal Double Convection Oven, Royal 50lb Fryer 2ea, Artic Air 23 cu ft Fridge, Artic Air Under Counter Freezer, Artic Air 28" Sandwich Prep, Royal 36" Range/4 Burner/12" Griddle, 100amp electrical package w/20amp circuits, Dometic A/C & Heat Unit, Aluminum Mill Finish Wall & Ceiling, ATP Flooring, 36" Front Access Door, 3,500 lb axles w/brakes 2ea, Steel wheels w/tires, Sink Package with 30 gal fresh, 50 gal waste, Water Fill Box, Fire Suppression, Larkin Commercial Grease Hood) All pictured inventory/equipment included. And the beauty of owning a fully stocked commercial kitchen on wheels is that if we don't sell it in WA we can just take it back to Minnesota! Either way, I promise to keep you posted on where in the world is Rise On Shine! As for now, I've got more work to do before we make the big move! Again, thank you. You have blessed me. You are loved. You will be missed. xoxo, R&R

Congratulations R&R and Team Love wins again. You'll be missed (the thought ever never biting into your breakfast sandwich again makes me weepy), but off you go with good wishes and good cheer.

OMG! What am I going to do without your beautiful food! My Sunday’s will be so empty, as well as my stomach! Ok enough of the guilt! I wish you, Ryan and the fur babies all the best! One last request for my Minnesota man that loved 🥰your Fried Chicken, your batter recipe! Lol! No seriously! Hopefully we can say goodbye in person 1 last time! Via con Dios!

Dave the Off Grid Ironman here. While I am devastated that we've only been able to enjoy your mind-blowingly great food for a very short time, I'm really happy for you and Ryan. Our best to you guys in this and all your endeavors.

We visited you in January from marysville and rushed this am to try catching the chocolate croissants. Super bummed to find you gone. Curious if you'd email me details on your trailer. If we knew you were serious about possibly wanting it we may have already bought it from you. It's been a life dream of Austa's to own a restraunt and we had come to realize the only way in WA to survive inslee may be a good truck.
